Be mindful of your thoughts today.
Take a fast from negative thinking. Every time you think something negative, replace it with a statement of gratitude and thanks to God. For example, you may catch yourself thinking, “That happens for other people but it will never happen for me.” In that moment, turn your negative thought into a statement of faith and praise such as, “Thank you God that You are able to do immeasurably more than I could ever ask, think, or imagine according to Your power that is at work within me.”
Challenge yourself to put an end to destructive and unproductive thinking by taking intentional time to train your brain. We have to cultivate a garden of fruitful thoughts that are watered with Godly faith. Quit allowing yourself to think thoughts of defeat, unworthiness, hurt, fear, disease, and loss. Take the time you normally spent on negative thinking and start praising God for victory, worth, joy, faith, healing, and increase. Focus on the goodness of God and not the difficulty of your situation.
Let your mind be filled with the Holy Spirit, who pours out peace that surpasses all understanding. Then you will believe bigger, trust more, step out further, and speak life.
