Merry Christmas Eve!

It’s the eve of the greatest moment in the history of the world. We celebrate the birth of our salvation. Did you get that? The birth of our salvation. Without Jesus, you and I had NO opportunity for eternal life. You see Christmas is more than just a holiday…it’s a holy day that marked the beginning of grace.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Before Jesus, the law was the ticket to salvation for the Jews, but in Christ, we ALL have access now. What an amazing reason to celebrate the season. It’s the grace that came by Jesus that gives us hope. And my hope is that we all come to know this amazing grace that brings us redemption.

So as you sit back this Christmas and enjoy the festivities don’t miss the greatest news you could have ever received in Jesus. He is the gospel, He is the good news, He is the celebration, He is the light, He is the hope, He is the joy, He is the Christmas Spirit, He is the way, truth, and life.

Over the next few days, I encourage you to take a moment by yourself and spend some time thanking Him and reflecting on the gift you have in Christ. In all the busyness of the season make sure you remember the birth of your salvation that came through Jesus. And maybe you can help others come to know this Savior Emmanuel…God with us.
