Paul wrote in Philippians 3:1-4…”1 Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you. 2 Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. 3 For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— 4 though I myself have reasons for such confidence.”

Paul was able to write these words in the scriptures because he moved from mere confidence to what I call…Godfidence. He surpassed a human confidence and was able to tap into the power of the Spirit. In fact, Paul said we should not put ANY confidence in the flesh, but rather put our confidence in the Spirit from Christ Jesus. Godfidence is something we move into when we let go of self and grab ahold of God’s power. On our own strength we can do nothing, but because of what Christ did we are now FREE to move in a greater strength through what I call Godfidence, which is the ability to move mountains. Godfidence empowers us to change the course of the future through the power of the Spirit that is at work within us.

Paul was able to speak about this Godfidence because he had experienced the supernatural empowerment to be, do, and have more than he ever could have on his own. Paul could have put confidence in his ability but he knew there was a much higher power in the ability of the Spirit that was at work within him. Paul experienced supernatural things in his life because of the faith he possessed. You see, when the Holy Spirit empowers you and I there is a supernatural ability that we possess, through Christ, that allows us to live a successful life. We are able to tap into the faith within us that enables change to take place around us.

Confidence hinders our potential, but Godfidence releases our potential. If we can tap into Godfident faith we will experience the destiny that God has laid out for us. Only then, do we truly KNOW the same power that raised Christ from the dead that is at work within us. When we allow the power of God to work within us, the path of God becomes clear around us. Never let FEAR control your life. Let FAITH rise up within you that empowers you to believe you can move mountains. FAITH is not a fleeting thought of hope in the moment, it is a resolved determination that nothing will stop the power of God at work within you! Align your thoughts with Godfidence and you WILL begin to see change around you!
