Just because you might not fully understand or recognize this purpose right now, or because you haven’t yet discovered what it is, does not mean it isn’t there. Similarly, just because someone else fails to see this purpose in you and instead puts you down, discourages you, or abandons you, does not diminish its existence or your value.
