You are a creative person…period. That’s right, no matter who you are, where you came from, or what you do…you are creative. You may think…”Hey wait, I’m not the creative type John.” Well…I beg to differ. You were created by a great God for a great creative purpose. You were literally formed with the DNA of Creator God, that means creativity is in your spiritual genes. Stop believing you are not a creative person, or that you don’t have the creative power others do. You are creative so just accept it.

You have to wrap your mind around these 3 truths

1. God is a CREATOR

God is always creating, He never stops. It is in His DNA to always be expanding and making all things new. In fact, His Word says His mercies are new everyday. Why are they new everyday? Because He is constantly renewing and refreshing His greatness to us. God is an expander, He is a builder. He never settles and never sleeps, He is always on the move doing new things. We must understand His nature because we are created from it.

2. You are a CREATOR

God has sovereignly given us creative power as we partner with Him; we are co-creators with God. Author Erwin McManus said, “We see ourselves as created beings, so we choose to survive. When we see ourselves as creative beings, we must instead create.” When you get a revelation of the supernatural power of God at work within you, you will begin to understand you have creative power to change the future. Again, no matter who you are…you are a creator somehow…someway. The moment you accept this is the moment you’ll begin to tap into your creative potential.

3. Thing are waiting to be CREATED

I often say, “You are only one idea away from a  major breakthrough in your life.” The truth is there is infinite things waiting for you to create. From the beginning of time God has ordained that you create the things He has called you to create. Trust me…what He has called you to create is more than you have…and more than you could ever imagine. In fact, your potential never runs out and never runs dry…it is only us who run away and stop filling ourselves. Use the gift God has given you as a creative person and start creating new ideas, new possibilities, new products, new events, new experiences, new opportunities, new relationships, new art, new technology, new tasks, new projects, new investments, new skills…you get the point…it is in you…so draw it out by faith!
